Norwegian Airlines returns to Puerto Rico

Norwegian Airlines returns to Puerto Rico

With reinstated direct flights to Puerto Rico from London Gatwick with Norwegian Airlines, the tropical Caribbean island has become the perfect destination for winter sun.

The non-stop direct flights will operate twice a week between London Gatwick and the Caribbean from November 2016, meaning the exciting island of Puerto Rico is now just over nine hours away for UK travellers.

With its stunning beaches, lively entertainment and unique cuisine experiences, the island is ideal for families, couples and young travellers.

An undiscovered gem for many, Puerto Rico is surrounded by nearly 300 miles of coastline and several offshore islands, offering visitors an array of white sand beaches and idyllic scenery.

The island promises something for all - from the relaxed sun-worshippers to the adventurous thrill-seekers.

The capital boasts old cathedrals, colourful architecture and beaches framed by the sparkling Caribbean Sea.

Taking visitors back more than 500 years in time, a walk through the magnificently-preserved and earliest Spanish colonial city of San Juan, will deliver old world charm and European romance.

Alternatively those looking for a relaxed vibe can swim in La Coca Waterfalls and snorkel in the surrounding seas.

Low cost airline Norwegian have now resumed the UK’s only direct flight to Puerto Rico, which runs to March 22nd.
