The ABCs of Cooking

Tuesday, September 27, 6:30 - 8:30 pm

A is for apron, B is for bake, C is for chop: all the “need to know” skills to go from novice to expert in no time. Learn knife skills plus proper techniques for grilling, braising and sautéing. Also cook up the dish every chef should have in their repertoire: the perfect roast chicken served with rosemary roasted potatoes, roasted brussels sprouts and whipped butternut squash.

Cider Specialties

Monday, October 10, 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Divine cider-inspired indulgences that melt in one’s mouth and fill homes with incredible smells. Learn to use an apple press, then get cooking: start with Chef Vosika’s favourite homemade cider donuts and move on to apple pancakes with cider syrup. And last but not least, prepare a fall feast: braised pork loin with fresh cider, sage and winesap apples.

Holiday Brunch

Tuesday, November 22, 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Brunch specialties guaranteed to wow company – or surprise a special someone. Master the art of flipping an egg just right, making a gourmet omelette, and whipping up a classic eggs benedict. Chef Vosika will also let participants in on the secrets behind his famous lemon ricotta hotcakes (hint: they’re easy to recreate at home) and cap things off with a tasty lobster soufflé.

A Charles Dickens Christmas

Embrace the spirit of the season in a memorable way: a Christmas goose with all the fixings, inspired by the great Charles Dickens. Chef Vosika’s festive menu will leave family and friends in awe, and surely start a new holiday tradition.
