Monarch Airlines seeks to boost Eastern Mediterranean

As unrest continues across the region, Monarch Airlines has shown its faith in the eastern Mediterranean with the launch of new scheduled flights to Bodrum in Turkey and the Greek island of Corfu.

Both will begin operations in May, alongside new departures across the Balearic and Canary Islands plus Cyprus.

Commenting on the new and additional flights this summer, managing director of Monarch Airlines, Kevin George said: “We have been able to respond to increased demand by further by boosting our eastern Med programme with the introduction of new flights to Corfu and Bodrum, as well as strengthen schedules on a number of our core sunshine routes.

Monarch operates scheduled flights to Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal, Cyprus, Turkey and Greece from Birmingham, London Gatwick, London Luton and Manchester airports.
