World Travel Awards has issued a call to potential participants warning nominations for the upcoming Middle East and Indian Ocean Gala Ceremonies close tonight.

The two events, scheduled for May this year, will take place in Dubai and the Maldives.

Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa will welcome delegates for the Middle East Gala Ceremony on May 5th, while Paradise Island will welcome finalists to the Indian Ocean event days later on May 12th.

The highest accolade in tourism, the World Travel Awards are hailed as ‘the Oscars of the travel industry’ by media worldwide for identifying and rewarding excellence in the industry.
