22nd Jul 2012 adds super summer sale on Facebook is extending its “Super Summer Sale” to Facebook with unique hotel promotions available only on the social media website. These will include both heavily-discounted hotels rates of up to 88 percent off normal prices and free night promotions that will be updated every week. Chief Information Officer, Olivier Dombey, said: “We are extending the reach of our ‘Super Summer Sale’ to Facebook and give our fans the first look at the tremendous promotions on offer.

“The ‘Super Summer Sale’ has been very popular with our customers since its launch end of June, so it seems only natural to leverage this success on social media.

“The same discounts and free night promotions will still be available on; just we will be giving our Facebook fans the first opportunity to book deals that are being updated on a weekly basis.”

According to Mr. Dombey, the extended offer is timed to coincide with the peak summer travel month of August in North America and Europe.


“Given the current global economic reality, consumers are waiting to the very last minute to book hotels this summer in the hope of finding lower rates. Expanding’s ‘Super Summer Sale’ on Facebook endeavors to deliver exactly that,” he added.

Recently announced that it added both Japanese and Russian on Facebook, Twitter and Google+ with other languages coming soon. This will allow more customers to share content and travel information in their native languages on all of’s social media platforms.
