On Sundays 11 and 18 December an additional hourly train service will provide shoppers and daytrippers from Walton-on-the-Naze, Frinton-on-Sea, Kirby Cross, Thorpe-le-Soken, Weeley, Great Bentley, Alresford, Wivenhoe and Hythe with a service into Colchester Town.
