Choice Hotels announces agreement with InRoom Broadcasting

Choice Hotels International, Inc, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisers, and InRoom Broadcasting Network, a company that creates unique guest experiences for the new generation of tech savvy hotel customers, announced their Qualified Vendor Agreement today.  This seven year agreement encompasses many aspects of sales, marketing and support for InRoom’s bundled systems and services.

“InRoom is a powerful addition to Choice’s Qualified Vendor Program. Their product offerings and business models will empower franchisees to improve the customer experience and technology capabilities for all Choice Hotels brand properties. Under the agreement, Choice has developed a comprehensive marketing and communications plan for InRoom and will market its products and services directly to hotel owners and operators and management companies comprised of at least one Choice franchisee,” said Rick Summa, vice president of procurement services, Choice Hotels International. “The advantages offered by InRoom enable hotel owners and operators to get even greater satisfaction from the guestroom elements with the comprehensive technology, media, content and financing being offered to each of our eleven unique hotel brands.”

“This 7 year agreement represents a significant commitment to all franchisees and is a milestone in InRoom’s commercialization and financing of specialty systems and services for franchise owned and operated hotels,” said Robert Holt, chief executive officer of InRoom Broadcasting Network. “Choice’s status as a global leader in franchised hotels, makes Choice a great fit for InRoom. Understanding the evolving brand standards, ongoing objectives of Choice and its franchisees and our consideration of the factual data from the attempts of other providers of guest services to the economy, mid-scale and upscale segments, is a significant advantage to InRoom’s franchise technology rollouts.  In most cases, InRoom will replace and/or manage all current telecom, media and Internet services and the associated costs together with a new interactive TV system with no out-of-pocket costs to the franchise owners and operators, effectively providing a single source for all of the hotels’ technology and service needs bundled into a single monthly payment.”

Effective immediately, Choice franchisees and related management companies can contact InRoom to request information, a complimentary site survey or to place orders for individual or bundled services.  Available services include IPTV systems featuring brand standard flat-panel TV’s, cable and satellite HD free-to-guest programming packages, TV Internet, VoIP, movies, music, games, advertising, social media, loyalty programs, wiring and cable distribution networks, through InRoom’s sales and distribution channels.
