Forrester Study Names Travelocity.com the Leader in Online Travel

51 Percent of Online Travel Shoppers Visit Travelocity.com FORT WORTH, TEXAS- Forrester Research Inc. has ranked Travelocity.com (NASDAQ: TVLY) the number one travel web site in its latest 2000 Travel Online Study, based on having the highest combination of reach, bookers visiting the site, and spending by visitors. More than half of all those who shop for travel online - 51 percent—use Travelocity.com, the study says.

In addition to its own site, Travelocity.com powers three other top 35 Web Travel Winners in the Forrester study including AOL, Yahoo! and Excite. This study comes on the heels of reports by Media Metrix, Nielsen/Net Ratings and PC Data showing Travelocity.com with top marks in reach and unique visitors during July.
