Trip Manager Rapid Reprice reduces the cost of ticket exchanges by allowing travelers to reprice tickets without assistance from an agent while at the same time collecting the appropriate fees for the airline.

Rapid Reprice empowers the traveler to modify ticketed reservations at their convenience simply by logging on to Trip Manager. This new pricing technology automatically compares the traveler’s original and revised itineraries, then calculates the new fare, including appropriate additional charges—all in a matter of seconds. Knowing the full cost of the new ticket, the traveler can decide whether to exchange the ticket or not.

“Trip Manager with Rapid Reprice gives corporate travelers the information they need to make informed choices about itinerary changes and how they might affect the cost of a trip,” commented Sue Powers
, chief information officer and senior vice president - Worldwide Product Solutions for Worldspan. “With the addition of features such as Rapid Reprice, Worldspan continues to enhance the power of Trip Manager as a cost-saving business tool.”

Worldspan Rapid RepriceSM is the industry’s first fully automated solution for streamlining the process of repricing airline tickets. Today, Rapid Reprice technology allows airlines, travel agencies, online sites and now business travelers to instantly and accurately determine new pricing and rules for ticket exchanges. Worldspan is the market leader in automated repricing technology, processing more than 2.9 million successful Rapid Reprice exchange transactions last year alone.
