Online Travel Sites Launch New Flight Searching Options

Online Travel Corporation (OTC)`s leading travel websites onlinetravel.com, A2btravel.com, Bargainholidays.com, ifyougolf.com and ifyoudive.com have launched a host of new flight searching options - providing consumers with more choice and flexibility.

The holiday websites` new features give holidaymakers the option to search by criteria including price, shortest route, direct/connecting flights and preferred airline, and will reduce the time consumers spend searching for flights.

OTC`s functionality is ideal for travellers on a budget, as it enables users to view flights from the best price upwards, while for business executives or other time-pressed travellers, the quickest routes are instantly displayed. Each website`s connecting flights option presents everyone from VFR travellers to backpackers with the choice to add up to five stopover destinations, while the ability to view flights by airline gives frequent flyers a quick and easy tool to view their preferred carriers.

OTC`s new flights functionality will be rolled out to OTC`s 12 own brand websites and will additionally be available on the company`s 80 partner sites, including BT Openworld, Priceline and Virgin.net.
Mark Jones, CEO at OTC, owners of onlinetravel.com, A2btravel.com, Bargainholidays.com, ifyougolf.com and ifyoudive.com, commented: “As a company we aim to cater for the needs of all types of travellers, from students to professionals, divers to golfers.

“We also appreciate that in today`s market, consumers are demanding the greatest amount of choice and flexibility and by launching these new flight extras we`re responding directly to their needs.”
