Hyatt Setting Standards with Diversity

CHICAGO - July 2, 2003 - The exceptional standards set by Hyatt have led Fortune Magazine to name Hyatt as one of “America`s 50 Best Companies for Minorities” for the fifth consecutive year.


Hyatt ranks number 18 on the Fortune list, which is published in the July 14, 2003 issue. The magazine recognizes Hyatt as having the 2nd highest percentage of minorities among all employees. Additionally, Hyatt ranks in the top five for percentage of officials and managers who are minorities. The rankings are the centerpiece of story package entitled “50 Best Companies for Minorities.”
