Beginning January 1, 2003, Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR) will offer seniors a 15 percent savings on room rates at more than 2,000 participating hotels worldwide. The Marriott Senior Discount is available to anyone age 62 and above at Marriott Hotels, Resorts and Suites; Renaissance Hotels, Resorts and Suites; Courtyard; Fairfield Inn; Residence Inn; TownePlace Suites and SpringHill Suites hotels.

The Marriott Senior Discount is available seven -days -a week, and reservations can be made on Marriott.com, calling toll-free 1-800-228-9290, or contacting a travel professional. Discounted rooms are offered on a space-available basis, and a maximum of two rooms can be reserved per stay. There is no limit on the number of nights per stay. Guest must also present valid identification with date of birth at check-in. The 15 percent Marriott Senior Discount replaces the current 10 percent AARP discount but all existing AARP bookings will be honored.

Weekend Holiday Savings Still Available

This holiday season, Marriott is offering reduced weekend rates at more than 1,700 Marriott Hotels, Resorts and Suites; Renaissance Hotels, Resorts and Suites; Courtyard; Fairfield Inn; SpringHill Suites; Marriott Vacation Club International; Residence Inn and TownePlace Suites hotels.

Marriott’s Winter Weekend Value rates may be booked today for stays through Jan. 5, 2003. The special rates are offered Thursday through Sunday nights depending on availability and vary by hotel brand and location. Marriott’s Winter Weekend Value rates are priced as follows:*
