ExecuStay By Marriott`s Kelly Regan Named President Of AIHP (Association Of Interim Housing Provider

Kelly Regan, regional vice president of ExecuStay by Marriott Ð the corporate housing services business of Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR) Ð has been elected 2000-2001 president of the Association of Interim Housing Providers (AIHP). AIHP is an international trade association dedicated to interim, or corporate, housing.

Ms. Regan began her 15-year history in interim housing when she developed a corporate housing program for a local developer in Hartford, Conn., in the mid-1980s. Recognizing that clients preferred one-stop shopping for their corporate housing needs, Ms. Regan created Corporate Accommodations of Connecticut, Inc., in 1988, eventually growing it to Hartford`s largest corporate housing provider.

In 1998, Ms. Regan merged Corporate Accommodations with ExecuStay, which then was acquired by Marriott International, Inc., in 1999. Ms. Regan now serves as regional vice president for ExecuStay`s northeast region.

ExecuStay by Marriott (www.execustay.com; 1-888-840-7829) provides corporate housing solutions through approximately 7,500 fully furnished, serviced and accessorized corporate apartments nationwide. ExecuStay provides the units through lease agreements with apartment owners and operators. Insurance Housing Solutions, a division of ExecuStay, specializes in providing temporary housing to the insurance industry in the event of natural disasters, house fires and other home-displacing situations.

The acquisition of ExecuStay in 1999 made Marriott International the first hospitality company to enter the estimated $3 billion corporate housing industry. ExecuStay is part of Marriott`s extended-stay lodging segment, which also includes Residence Inn by Marriott, TownePlace Suites by Marriott and Marriott Executive Apartments.
