Ramada International Appoints Norman Jenkins Vice President Of Finance

Ramada International Hotels & Resorts has named Norman Jenkins vice president of finance, effective immediately, announced Reas M. Kondraschow, senior vice president and managing director for Ramada International Hotels & Resorts. Most recently, Jenkins was director-lodging finance and business development for Marriott.

In his new capacity, Jenkins will be responsible for Ramada International`s strategic planning, accounting, reporting, development finance and tax. He will also play a key role in determining how to integrate the brand into Marriott International, Inc.`s systems and procedures.

Norman is a tremendous asset to the Ramada International brand team, said Kondraschow. He is a proven leader who will do an outstanding job in helping to grow the brand.

Jenkins began his career with Marriott in 1992 in corporate internal audit. Since then, he has held management positions of increasing responsibility. During his career, Jenkins helped facilitate the transition and integration of corporate sales and tax into the lodging finance organization and acted as the finance liaison during Marriott`s acquisition of Renaissance.

Jenkins earned his bachelor`s degree in accounting from Howard University. In addition, he is a certified accountant and will complete his master`s in business administration from George Washington University in April 1999.
