Disney-Adjacent Land Available For Orlando Hotel Development

Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed to market a 50-acre land site in Orlando, Florida on behalf of seller UBS Warburg. The available property, located at 8800 Meadow Creek Drive between U.S. Interstate 4 and State Road 535, features 1,653 feet of frontage along Interstate 4 across from Walt Disney World`s “Downtown Disney” development.

The site is located in the Lake Buena Vista sub-market, Orlando`s top performing hotel market, according to Christian Charre, Head of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels` Miami office. “Of the four primary hotel sub-markets in Orlando, Lake Buena Vista is leading in occupancy and achieving the highest RevPAR premium overall in Orlando in 2000.”

“The land is zoned for hotel and timeshare properties, but we will review offers from other segments such as retail, residential and recreation,” said Dirk Riekse, Vice President of Jones Lang LaSalle`s Land group. “It`s not every day that you find 50 acres for sale literally across the street from Disney World. We expect strong interest from several different buyer types.”
