AUSTIN, TEXAS; June 14, 2002—The Mid-Florida Chapter of Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®) is pleased to host the 2002 HFTP Florida Regional Conference at the Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, Fla., July 17 -20. The regional “gathering” is Florida`s ninth annual conference featuring a golf tournament, a two-day education conference, a tradeshow and social activities that encourage networking. Attendees include the CFO`s, controllers and assistant controllers, as well as directors of information technology and systems managers of the most prestigious resorts and private member-owned clubs in the Southeast. Estimated attendance is expected to exceed 150 Florida and Southeast members!

The Florida Regional Conference will kick off with a FREE CHAE and a CHTP review on Wednesday, July 17. On Thursday CHAE and CHTP exams will be offered, as well as a golf outing at the Grand Cypress Golf Club, which was given a gold medal by Golf Magazine as one of the finest golf resorts in America. That same evening a welcome and vendor reception will be held. Friday and Saturday are filled with top-notch speakers covering topics such as employee litigation avoidance, small office internal controls, tax updates for clubs, online reservations and more.
