Prime Hospitality Assumes Management Of Clarion Hotel & Suites in Ohio`s Capital City

Prime Hospitality
Corporation (NYSE: PDQ) has assumed management of the Columbus Clarion Hotel &
Suites as of March 1, 2002. The hotel is owned by Raj Parikh and Ken Talati of
Parikh & Parikh Associates of Maple Shade, NJ.  Parikh & Parikh Associates
converted the property, formerly the Trueman Club Hotel, into the Clarion
Hotel & Suites in February of this year after purchasing the hotel during
mid-2001 and spending approximately $1 million dollars in renovations.

Located at 900 E. Dublin-Granville Road (Route 161), the hotel features
174 oversized guests rooms with 50 suites, nine banquet and meetings rooms
totaling 7,500 square feet, a complimentary deluxe continental breakfast
buffet, dataport phones and voicemail, a garden room with an indoor heated
pool, whirlpool and sundeck, same-day valet dry cleaning services, and a
fitness center.  The Clarion Hotel & Suites is a part of Choice Hotels

The hotel is conveniently located within ten minutes of Port Columbus
International Airport, downtown Columbus, Ohio State University and the State
Capitol, and only five minutes from the Ohio State Fairgrounds and Expo
