Just what constitutes an elegant resort is somewhat subjective, but I feel most would agree on the destinations featured on the Elegant Resorts International web site.
The site comprises details, including iPIX tours, on eight properties, each with tremendously different characteristics, the exception being they all share the same high quality standards.
The resorts have formed a consortium in a successful attempt to reach a target market of those travellers who would appreciate the individual characteristics of each of the destinations, which are:

Each link from the home page follows the same format for each destination, the pages themselves providing an elegant, uncluttered feel with muted colours and easy-to-read fonts.
The search can be made by drop-down menus by location, activity or the property’s name and will connect quickly to the relevant page.
Details of the ‘Compass Club’, membership of which is free of cost, which offers special benefits and privileges, are contained on the site, as well as elegant resorts news, giving updates on the properties and companies.
The booking and quote form is simplicity itself and the site is further enhanced by iPIX tours of each property and excellent photographs.
Detailed destination information is only slightly marred by the less-than-detailed mapping, but I understand that will be replaced by updated versions.
To conclude then, a web site, the contents of which match the name, Elegant Resorts.
