Brand2Hand extends SMSDesk support to Travel Industry.

SMSDesk provides customer support functions through SMS Text Messages,
letting customers or other special groups use Text Messages to register
questions and support issues with the SMS Desk.


SMS provides a very efficient medium for dealing with customer
enquiries. Using SMS Desk calls can be allocated, replied to and
escalated on screen. SMS Desk provides equivalent function to a call
centre with very much more efficient operation. Incoming SMS can be
queued and handled asynchronously. Responding to a text message query is
at typing speed, enabling operators to deal with a higher volume of
queries in comparison to normal telephony systems. Customers still get
the personal service they want, but avoid the pitfalls of being kept on
hold and telephone tag.

SMS Desk is a customer support service provided by Brand2Hand as a
specialist application. SMS Text Messages are carried by the mobile
networks at low cost. Brand2Hand provide SMS Desk on an ASP basis, so
there is no software to install or servers needed to operate the
service, clients just sign up and go. SMS Desk can be operated from
multiple service centres at the same time. Each operator terminal needs
an internet connection to use the service.
