AirTran Announces Enhanced Service

AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI), today announced the airline will commence new daily nonstop service between Baltimore/Washington International Airport and Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport. The new flights will begin November 19, 2003.
“Service to Dallas-Fort Worth significantly enhances our Baltimore-Washington focus city,” stated Kevin P. Healy, AirTran Airways vice president planning and sales. “With this new service, we will offer thirty-two daily nonstop flights from Baltimore/Washington to eleven cities: Atlanta, Boston, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Grand Bahama Island, Miami, Milwaukee, Orlando, Rochester and Tampa. These markets offer a mixture of business and leisure destinations to travelers from the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area.”
AirTran Airways also announced that effective November 19th, the airline increased its daily departures from Baltimore/Washington to Boston from seven to eight roundtrips.
