Fall Getaways with American Airlines

FORT WORTH, Texas - While summer vacation season has to end, an American Airlines fare sale in select markets means a fall getaway has never been so tempting. Customers can book for less than $100 each way* on select popular routes to destinations like the West Coast, Florida, New York and San Juan.

“This sale is in select markets, and it’s a perfect way to plan an escape for the fall when the temperatures are friendlier and the busy summer vacation crowds in these markets have thinned,” said Dan Garton, American’s executive vice president-Marketing. “And don’t forget that travel between New York Kennedy and select West Coast cities is not more than $299 for a one-way coach ticket on American.”

For no extra charge, American Airlines customers enjoy the benefits of the AAdvantage program, where each mile flown can add up to future award travel on the world’s most extensive network of destinations. Online check-in on AA.com and AA Self-Service Check-InSM at the airport provide ease and efficiency on the way to the boarding gate.

Sale prices are good for travel any day of the week from Sept. 3 through Nov. 19 and Dec. 3 through Dec. 17, 2003, with no minimum or maximum stay requirements. Reservations must be made at least 14 days prior to departure, and tickets must be purchased within 24 hours of making reservations and no later than Aug. 27, 2003. Some markets require round-trip purchase. The fares are non-refundable/non transferable. Fares may not be available on all flights and are subject to change without notice. Other travel dates and times may be available at additional cost. Ticket changes may be made up to and including day of departure, if all restrictions applicable to the new fare are met, by paying a $25 service charge.
