SWISS is expanding its ?Swiss Europe Savers” low-cost flight offers to cover 21 European destinations. SWISS clients will be able to profit from the new offers from Zurich and Basel. The operation will additionally be expanded to include the travel agencies.
Since January, SWISS has been marketing “Swiss Europe Savers” on a trial basis on the routes from Geneva to Paris, London-Heathrow, Barcelona and Nice: The response to this cheap fare offer was positive. For this reason, SWISS will expand its offer, effective June 3 (Reservation date). There will be seven destinations served from Basel (Hamburg, Berlin Tempelhof, Dusseldorf, Munich, Barcelona, Vienna and London Heathrow) and ten from Zurich (Hamburg, Berlin Tegel, Dusseldorf, Munich, Cologne, Barcelona, Vienna, London Heathrow, Roma, Paris CDG). During the test phase, reservations could only be made via the SWISS Website swiss.com. Now it will be possible to make reservations at the travel agencies.

As examples, the prices are CHF 99 for a flight from Geneva to Paris, CHF 125 for Basel-Berlin or CHF for Zurich- Barcelona, plus taxes. Similar fares apply in the reverse directions. For those who book via swiss.com will profit additionally from even more favourable prices
The fares quoted differ according to the pre-booking deadlines. The earlier the client makes a reservation, the more favourable the price. Certain conditions are attached “Swiss Europe Savers”, such as, a minimum stay of two nights on weekdays, or overnight from Saturday to Sunday, with a maximum stay duration of 10 days. Because seat availability is limited, SWISS advises that reservations should be made early.
With its new offer, SWISS wants to demonstrate to the public at large that quality can be very favourably priced - onboard service is included.
