US Airways Announces $98 Roundtrip

US Airways is offering new low GoFares - an affordable way to see family, visit friends, or just go shopping for the weekend during the holiday season. Customers purchasing GoFares can travel for as little as $98 roundtrip in select markets throughout the Eastern U.S.

Under this sale, tickets must be purchased by Nov. 29, 2002 for same-weekend travel on Nov. 23-24, Dec. 7-8, 14-15, or 28-29, 2002. GoFares are available through US Airways Reservations, at usairways.com or through Sabre and Apollo travel agencies. Sale fares are nonrefundable and valid for nonstop travel only.

Fares are based on required roundtrip nonstop coach travel. Depending upon travel needs, alternative routings may be available at the same fares, with part of the service on regional aircraft operated by US Airways Express carriers Allegheny, Air Midwest, Chautauqua, Colgan, Mesa, Piedmont, PSA, Shuttle America or Trans States.

Tickets must be purchased within 24 hours of making reservation and no later than Nov. 29, 2002. Seats are limited and may be sold out on certain flights and times.

Fares do not include a $3 federal excise tax, which will be imposed on each flight segment of the itinerary. A flight segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing. Fares do not include the September 11th Security Fee of $5 per itinerary. Fares do not include up to $9 in airport passenger facility charges where applicable. Lower fares may be available in some markets. Fares are not available in all markets. Other conditions may apply.
