JetBlue Moves Launch of Service


To support travelers impacted by the cessation of National Airlines` operations last night, JetBlue Airways Nasdaq: JBLU) plans to move up its launch of new service between New York City`s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Las Vegas, NV by two months to November 15, and to operate four daily flights on the route by March 2003. The low-fare airline also announced today that it will offer standby and special low-fare options to travelers holding National Airlines tickets booked for travel through December 15.

Starting November 15, JetBlue will offer a daily flight between JFK and Las Vegas; a second daily flight will be added on January 7. Third and fourth daily flights will be added in February and March, respectively.


National Airlines customers who hold a confirmed ticket, whether paper or electronic, may travel standby on JetBlue on their scheduled date of travel for an administrative fee of $25.* Standby travel is not guaranteed and is only awarded if seats are available at the time of departure.


For National ticket holders who prefer confirmed travel, JetBlue will waive advance purchase restrictions on their lowest regular fares. National Airlines ticket holders will be required to present their National paper ticket or e-ticket confirmation to JetBlue upon check-in.


Of the routes previously operated by National Airlines from Las Vegas, JetBlue currently serves LA/Long Beach nonstop and offers connecting service via Long Beach both to New York City and Washington, D.C. JetBlue`s daily nonstop service between Las Vegas and JFK commences November 15.

JetBlue`s lowest regular fares between Las Vegas and LA/Long Beach start at $44* each way and between Las Vegas and Washington DC and JFK at $139* each way. To introduce the new route between JFK and Las Vegas, JetBlue is offering an introductory sale fare of $99* each way, if booked at JetBlue`s website, www.jetblue.com, or $104* via 1-800-JETBLUE. Introductory sale fares must be purchased by January 7, 2003 for travel completed by February 12, 2003.


National Airlines ticket holders wishing to travel standby on JetBlue must arrive at the airport 90 minutes in advance to place their name on the waitlist. To take advantage of the special low-fare option, National ticket holders should call 1-800-JETBLUE.
