In Business Traveler`s 2002 Asia Pacific Readers Poll, Korean Air was ranked as the World`s 6th best airline and Asia Pacific`s 5th Best Airline.

Korean Air claimed 4th place for its Business Class and 7th place for its First and Economy Classes.

“We are proud that our Business Class service continues to be internationally recognized time and time again. It shows that many business travelers choose their airline carrier based on the quality of the services they receive,” said J.J Choi, Managing Vice President of Korean Air.

The Poll also listed Seoul`s Incheon Airport [ICN] as the World`s 3rd Best.  “As the Korean national flag carrier, Korean Air is able to take full advantage of the splendid facilities at Incheon, the best-located airport in the region,” Choi said.

The Asia Pacific Readers Poll is an annual survey carried out by Business
Traveler magazine and independently conducted by the international research
agency, NFO WorldGroup, Hong Kong. A questionnaire asked subscribers to
record personal preferences and to vote for their favorites airlines, airports, hotels etc. A total of 9,885 questionnaires were sent to individual subscribers, and more than 58 airlines participated. Conducted from June to July 2002, this was the 11th Poll since starting in 1992.

The results of this survey indicate that the image and reputation of Korean Air is very positive in the minds of many business and vacation travelers,” stated Choi.
