bmibaby Bookings Snowball

Sales on bmibaby services to Geneva from both East Midlands Airport (EMA) and Cardiff International Airport (CWL) have soared.
The service, which operates eight times weekly from EMA and twice weekly from CWL, is proving popular with winter sports enthusiasts looking for low cost flights, thanks to the convenience of bmibaby`s morning departure times.
A number of major tour operators have also been keen to be part of the bmibaby success story and have committed to taking significant allocations of seats on services from both airports to Geneva as well as bmibaby services to Toulouse, Munich and Salzburg.
Tony Davis, managing director, bmibaby said:
“We are delighted that bookings are going so well on our Geneva services. Passengers have been quick to take advantage of the genuinely good flight deals that we are offering, starting from just £35 return, which includes all taxes and airport charges.
“In just the first winter of operation, winter sports enthusiasts and passengers travelling for a short break will be joining business travellers in enjoying our expanded network of `alpine` services to Geneva, Salzburg, Toulouse and Munich.

“More great news is that bmibaby aircraft will, for the first time, be operating out of Birmingham International Airport to Toulouse when a major ski operator will be chartering our aircraft to offer a programme to this destination for the winter season. In response to increased demand bmibaby will also serve Toulouse three times a week from East Midlands Airport from December providing a welcome boost to this popular resort from the Midlands.
“All of these developments to our winter flying programme clearly show that
bmibaby is proving to be the number one choice for tour operators and passengers selecting winter ski destinations.”
Internet fares on bmibaby services to Geneva start from £35 return and can be booked by visiting bmibaby.com. Flights can also be booked via reservations on 0870 264 2229.
