Lauda Air Launches New Sunday Service to Malaga

As autumn and winter close in, escape the cold and head for Spain this year - particularly southern Andalusia, the region that enjoys more hours of sun than anywhere else in Europe! From 3 November 2002, Lauda Air is adding another attractive scheduled destination to its holiday flight schedule: Malaga, the bustling centre of the Costa del Sol.
Flights will leave Vienna for Malaga every Sunday, with return on the same day of the week. The new service to Malaga will offer the ideal connections from the Austrian federal provinces, and golf bags can be taken on board free of charge, as they can to Mallorca.
Schedules from 3 November 2002:

Flight day / Departure place/time / Arrival place/time / Flight no.

Sun / from Vienna 10.30 / to Malaga 13.45 / OS3391
Sun / from Malaga 15.40 / to Wien 18.55 / OS3392
Malaga is a fascinating town with a rich history. Founded by the Phoenicians and once under Moorish rule, for centuries the town was the supreme trading centre on the Iberian peninsula. Today the birthplace of Pablo Picasso is also a great starting-point for excursions along the Costa del Sol to jet set locations such as Marbella or inland to the awe-inspiring grandeur of Granada.
Those in the know also refer to the Costa del Sol as the Costa del Golf, as almost 40 year-round courses offer golfers the opportunity to improve their handicap throughout the winter.
The new flight can be booked around the clock and with immediate effect on 05 1789 (local rates apply in Austria), at a travel agency of your choice, or online at www.aua.com.
