Air France has formally denied that any agreement to acquire an equity stake in KLM has been concluded between the two airlines.

Furthermore, Air France underlines that talks with KLM only concern the Dutch airline joining SkyTeam, and that therefore, this concerns all SkyTeam members including Alitalia and CSA.
Discussions, which have been taking place over the past few months, have however been given new impetus since the announcement of the Delta - Continental - Northwest project.
