For the second time, the readers of the prestigious monthly, Business Traveler, chose Polish Airlines LOT as the Best Central and Eastern European Airline in 1999.

Business Traveler is a world-wide publication with English, American and German editions as well as an Asian edition published in Hong Kong.

In each issue, the monthly publishes questionnaires which are filled out by readers and sent to the independent consumer research center ORCI (Opinion Research Corporation International).

Readers paid special attention to the level of on board service, crew professionalism, punctuality, quality of meals etc. Among many other airlines, LOT was rated as best at meeting these expectations.

The award was handed out on October 12, 1999 at the Savoy Hotel in London where many reputable guests were present. Jan Litwinski, Chairman of the Management Board, received the award on behalf of Polish Airlines LOT.
