In addition to prizes, contest winners will also be featured in a special American Way Road Warrior issue to be published next Spring. American Way editors received nearly 7,000 entries last year from American Airlines’ most travel-savvy customers.
“We enjoy hearing fascinating travel stories from American’s best customers,” said American Way Publisher, Terrie Lonergan. “The best stories end up in the pages of American Way and the winners take home great prizes.” Lincoln, SANYO Fisher and American Airlines Vacations are the presenting sponsors of the 2002 American Way Road Warrior Search.
“The Road Warrior entries we received last year illustrated that our readers are at once philosophical and practical in their approach to travel,” said American Way Editor, Elaine Srnka. “American Airlines customers are involved with our airline, and how it relates to their travel experiences.”
The official entry form for the 2002 American Way Road Warrior Search consists of a series of multiple-choice questions about travel preferences and patterns, with special judging consideration given to three creative narrative questions. Winners will be selected by a panel of American Way judges based on creativity, originality and relevance of their answers, and, to a lesser extent, how often they travel.
