Aer Lingus confirmed that it had suspended a pilot for non-compliance with the new work practices under the airline`s Survival Plan.

These work practices have been introduced by Aer Lingus after a six-month process of direct negotiations and endorsement by the Labour Relations Commission and an independent agreed arbitrator.

They are a core part of the Aer Lingus Survival Plan which the company is committed to implementing in full.
