Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL)
has expanded its online award travel capabilities at delta.com
.

This enhancement enables SkyMiles members in the United States to book award
travel online to Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and for Puerto Rican
and U.S. Virgin Island members to book award travel online to the U.S.
  Delta provides daily service between the U.S., San Juan, Puerto Rico and
St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
 
“Puerto Rico and St. Thomas are popular leisure and business destinations,
as well as cruise departure points, and this enhancement makes it easier for
our members to book award travel there,” said Rob Borden, general manager of
the SkyMiles Customer Loyalty Program.  “The expansion of this self-service
tool also allows our customers to have more control over their travel planning
and reinforces Delta`s goal of making the travel experience as easy as
possible.”
 
  At delta.com, the Award Ticket feature enables SkyMiles members to redeem
miles online for a SkyChoice(TM) or SkySaver(TM) Award in Coach/Economy,
BusinessElite(TM)/Business or First Class.  Members can view SkyChoice and
SkySaver Award availability as well as take advantage of the SkyMiles Mileage
Purchase option.  In one transaction, members can book flights and redeem
miles for tickets for up to six other individuals traveling on the same
itinerary.
