The Tzell Travel Group, the 15th largest independent travel agency in the United States, has selected Atlanta-based AgentWare`s Travel Console software to search and book Internet based fares for its corporate and leisure customers.
Tzell, headquartered in New York, NY with offices in the Northeast, Texas and on the West Coast, is placing the Travel Console on the desktop of each of its nearly 600 associates in order to deliver more choices and better prices to clients.

AgentWare`s Travel Console enhances the value of Tzell`s associates by enabling them to make more efficient use of the Web and the better travel deals often found there. Travel Console bridges Web-based travel reservation systems and back-office accounting and reporting systems, a gap that once restricted travel agents to traditional reservation systems. The software also allows travel agents to create customer profiles and itinerary records so that they can track customer purchases with Web-based travel service firms.

Tzell associates can compare Web fares from 15 leading travel Web sites. The Travel Console also makes consolidator fares available for mark-up, providing an additional revenue stream and higher profit margins. Clients who are able to use wholesale fares are better served as a result of the Travel Console`s support of multiple consolidator Web sites.
