Barbados has hit the big time by being featured in two of the UK`s leading tabloid publications, The Sunday People and The Daily Star.
The Sunday People (circ: 1,171,000), features a double page spread on Barbados. The tabloid journalist writing on the Caribbean island enthuses about his first ever visit and describes the island as `pure bliss`. Attractions mentioned include Daphne`s, The Boat Yard, Sandy Lane and Holders Season.
The Daily Star (circ: 850,000), uses the island to expose a a British celebrity holidaying on the island. Pictures of third rate celebrity Amanda Holden were featured in a recent print. A Barbados spokesperson Kim Thorpe said the pictures featured Amanda, `looking stunning after enjoying an early morning surf in Barbados`.
