The Radisson Cable Beach & Golf Resort, Nassau, The Bahamas, announced the appointment of Earle R. Bethell as the propertyå‘s new Deputy General Manager. Bethell, a 22-year industry veteran, has been with the Radisson Cable Beach & Golf Resort since 1992, when he started as the Director of Front Office Operations, was later promoted to Director, Rooms Division, and then again to Assistant General Manager.

“Bethell’s years of experience with the Radisson Cable Beach and Golf Resort brings an in-depth understanding of the property itself and its customer-base, that is second to none,” said George Myers, chairman of The Myers Group. “As Deputy General Manager, Bethell will continue to play a key role in all the resort’s day-to-day operations, as well as the long term decisions for the property itself,” Myers added. 

Bethell has held a multitude of hotel managerial positions throughout The Bahamas. Prior to coming to the Radisson Cable Beach & Golf Resort, he was the executive assistant manager of the Royal Bahamian Hotel & Villas. He has also held the position of front office manager for the Cable Beach Hotel when it was operated by Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.

Bethell’s professional involvement in the industry also extends to his involvement with various affiliations. Currently, he is Senior Vice President of the Bahamas Hotel Association, a Director of the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board, and the Trustee of Bahamas Hotel & Allied Industries Employees Assistance Trust Fund. He is also Immediate Past President of the South-East Rotary Club, Director of the Rotary Foundation Committee. His philanthropic contributions include his involvement with the Us Too Cancer Support Group.

Bethell has earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management (Cum Laude) from Morris Brown College, Atlanta, GA.
