Swim With Stingrays in Antigua

Visitors to Antigua
now have the chance to swim with stingrays. The concept has been created by Andrew Moody Stuart and Antiguan environmentalist Foster Derrick. It is an educational program offering visitors the opportunity to interact with these gentle creatures.
From the village of Seatons on the North East side of the island, a short boat ride takes guests out to an off shore reef, where they will swim with the stingrays as well as feed and hold them in their natural environment.  An experienced guide provides detailed information about these animals and other sea creatures, which can be seen when snorkelling along the pristine reef.
Swimming with the stingrays at Stingray City costs US$40 per person.
