Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort Paradise Island goes 100 Percent All-Inclusive in 2003

As of the first of this month, (Jan, 2003), the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort in Paradise Island
converted to a 100 percent all-inclusive program - the first complete all-inclusive property for the Holiday Inn SunSpree brand - offering guests the opportunity for great value, warm hospitality and non-stop activity in a convenient location.
2003 Rates range from $170 to $245 per night, per person, based on double occupancy. The Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort offers an all-inclusive
vacation experience amidst the excitement of Paradise Island, including comfortable accommodations with an island view, water view or water front rooms; taxes and gratuities; three meals daily and snacks; all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; unlimited use of tennis and exercise facilities; the fully supervised Island Stop Kids Club (ages 4-12); and a day beach excursion to Blue Lagoon Island.

The resort was completely renovated in 2000 and features three restaurants and two bars, two tennis courts, a free-form pool and hot tub, and daily outdoor activities and entertainment. Each of the 246 spacious guestrooms includes a refrigerator, coffee maker, hairdryer, iron and board, safe, cable television, in room movies on demand, Nintendo, and two telephones with two lines and data port. Some guestrooms feature balconies providing scenic views of Nassau Harbor.
Guests can indulge their appetites at the Captain`s Table Buffet Restaurant, open breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering theme nights
such as Texas Round-up, Gilligan`s Seafood Buffet, Bahamian Luau, and Soprano`s Sunday. The Harbor View Restaurant provides the perfect setting for a romantic dinner or special family gathering.
“We are delighted about the decision to make our resort the first totally all-inclusive property for the Holiday Inn SunSpree brand,” said General Manager Stephen Kappeler. “We have offered an all-inclusive package since 1999, yet it`s a natural choice to convert our entire resort program as it offers a hassle-free, affordable vacation for our guests, and Paradise Island is a destination of choice for families and couples.”  The resort is adjacent to Hurricane Hole Marina, and Atlantis Resort & Casino and the Bahamas Craft Center are just a short walk. Duty-free shopping, entertainment and downtown Nassau
are just minutes away by water taxi.
“We are proud of the conversion of the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort Paradise Island into our first all-inclusive product within the growing Holiday Inn SunSpree portfolio,” said Michelle Mulcahey
, Holiday Inn Brand Manager for Six Continents Hotels, Inc.  “With its popular destination location and family friendly resort amenities, the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort Paradise Island exemplifies the offerings of the Holiday Inn SunSpree brand.”
