Reservations technology provider TRUST International, a member of the Bertelsmann Group, has been chosen to provide reservation technology solutions to Hard Rock Hotels. (10/31/2001)
Among the services TRUST will provide to the hotel properties in Las Vegas, Orlando, Bali and Pattaya, Thailand, include full service reservation solutions including GDS and Internet distribution as well as voice reservations and database management and reporting.
TRUST will also act on a consultancy basis to guide Hard Rock Hotels in consolidating all of its reservations under a single DJ chain code in all major global distribution systems to support additional growth. Future locations under consideration for Hard Rock Hotels include destinations such as New York and Los Angeles.
The contract is effective immediately and covers future expansions of the Hard Rock brand worldwide.
TRUST develops and implements a state-of-the-art central reservation system, providing tailor-made, real-time reservations and global distribution solutions for the hospitality industry. TRUST services provide real-time solutions that seamlessly connect hotels and bookers worldwide, including private label telephone lines, connectivity to all GDS’ and various Web sites and Internet platforms, and three Global Call Centers serving 36 countries in 15 languages. Hard Rock Cafe International, Inc. has licensed rights to four full-service hotels- Las Vegas, Orlando, Bali and Pattaya (Thailand).
