Monthly passenger figures released today give cause for optimism, especially for take-up of Internet bookings.

Not only did the number of tickets sold increase in September over a year ago, but 91.0% of tickets sold were booked online, up from 77.8% in September 2000.

The load factor for the carrier remained steady at 83%, with 145,000 more passengers carried last month compared to a year ago.

easyJet operates 35 routes from 16 European destinations with 25 Boeing 737 series aircraft.
