Avis` Italian Subsidiary Deploys Unicenter TNG

Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) has announced that Avis Autonoleggio S.p.A., the Italian subsidiary of Avis Europe plc, has deployed Unicenter TNG to improve the availability and performance of its critical eBusiness applications, thereby maximizing the bottom-line returns on its extensive technology investments.
Avis Autonoleggio S.p.A. is Italys leading car rental organization managing 25,000 vehicle rentals annually from about 250 branch offices located throughout the country. The companys expanding and heterogeneous IT infrastructure supports critical business processes such as rental reservations, vehicle usage tracking and maintenance operations for the entire rental fleet.
Complementing its recent deployment of a countrywide frame relay network, Avis Autonoleggio began evaluating enterprise management solutions. The company selected Unicenter TNG for its integrated features, as well as for its ability to effectively automate administrative processes across its heterogeneous environment from a central location. >From a centralized, highly intuitive interface, Avis Autonoleggio administrators can use Unicenter TNG to quickly gauge the performance of their entire IT infrastructure in real time.
