Earthtrip Corporation Launches Business-to-Business Technology and Consumer Travel Site

Earthtrip Corporation, which provides advanced technology products and services to the travel, hospitality, and tourism industries, today announced the formation of two operating divisions: ETG, the corporate technology division and earthtrip.com, a consumer-based full service virtual travel agency.
The company has also established the Earthtrip Foundation as a vehicle to donate a portion of all Earthtrip Corporation revenues to various environmentally focused, not-for-profit organizations dedicated to protecting the environment.
ETG`s core product, QT, is a suite of proprietary software components to automate the production, communication, and transmission of client-customized travel confirmations, authorization documents and invoices to support corporate clients` ability to manage their travel-related expenses. ETG offers software designed to support business and consumer applications using a proprietary GDS interface. ETG software will empower its corporate customers to improve efficiencies and reduce the cost of conducting business, and provides leisure customers with the ability to research, plan, and purchase travel products online.
earthtrip.com is a virtual travel agency that provides its users with the ability to book air travel, reserve hotel rooms and rental cars based upon user preferences. The site offers a simple, functional and intuitive user interface that allows the individual to purchase and review travel reservations with ease. Through its affiliation with Worldspan, earthtrip.com provides access to more than 455 airlines, 200 hotel companies (representing approximately 39,000 properties), and 44 car rental companies. Unique to the company`s Web site is its “no advertising” policy which enhances the visually pleasing and straightforward attributes of the site`s design. The site can also be viewed in French, German, or Spanish, simply by clicking the appropriate flag in the lower left corner of any screen. Once done, this will automatically translate each page into that language for the duration of the session.
earthtrip.com has established its EarthSaver program to support its environmentally sustainable marketing efforts. The company donates 5% of its total revenues through a registered not-for-profit organization called the Earthtrip Foundation. Currently, the Foundation features the Alaska Wilderness League, the National Audubon Society, The Nature Conservancy, and the Sierra Club. The final recipient can be directed by the site`s users, or at the discretion of the Earthtrip Foundation. “Earthtrip is excited to be a new participant in the online travel and technology marketplace. Our leading-edge technology, consumer-friendly Web site, combined with our responsible, sustainable initiatives will lead us to become a top player in this industry,” said Brian Fahey, CEO.
