Holiday Extras has signed an agreement with retail giant Amazon to launch an online Travel Shop.

Powered by Amazon, the new service enables customers to buy those holiday extras, from airport parking and airport hotels to travel plugs and toiletries.
James Thompson, marketing executive at Holiday Extras, said: “By launching the new Travel Shop, we hope to make our website a one-stop travel shop for customers. In addition, in being powered by Amazon, customers can rest assured that they are getting the greatest possible value and service.”

“Finding the perfect summer novel, remembering to pack all the travel essentials like sun-tan lotion, the digital camera and travel plugs, and ensuring you have all the right clothes can often be a last-minute worry in your holiday preparations,” he added.

Ryan Kemp, associates manager at Amazon, said: “We realise how important it is for travellers to be fully prepared, and look forward to a successful relationship between the two companies.”
