Hilton inks three new deals in Europe

Hilton Hotels Corporation has signed a trio of long term agreements to add new properties in Poland, Italy and Russia.

The deals, which include two new Hilton Garden Inn hotels in Treviso and Warsaw, as well as a Doubletree by Hilton in Perm, Russia, highlight the company’s continued growth of its Family of Hotels in key strategic markets across Europe.Welcoming the new signings, Wolfgang M. Neumann, President of Hilton Hotels - Europe, said: “Our development efforts remain firmly in securing opportunities in a number of strategic markets including Russia, Italy and Poland, where we believe there exists favourable growth conditions across our portfolio of hotel brands. These latest signings indicate the dynamic expansion that our multi brand development strategy is generating”.

He added: “So far in 2008 we have announced signings for 13 new hotels in continental Europe, adding almost 3,000 rooms to our portfolio over the next two years. This momentum is critical to our success as we aim to quickly establish new brands like Hilton Garden Inn, Doubletree by Hilton, and Hampton by Hilton in both our established markets and new destinations”.
