Brando wins easyCar business

PR and brand experience agency, Brando, has won a four way competitive pitch to secure the PR business for is easyCar’s first use of an external PR agency and marks an exciting period of development for the business.

Launched in 2000, has transformed itself from a UK-based car hire company to one of the world’s leading online car-hire brokers, specialising in low-cost, global car rental.


Bill Jones, recently joined CEO of easyCar, said: “I’ve been charged with continuing the growth of the company and building the brand equity.  We have great ambitions for easyCar and in the style expected of an “easy” branded business we want to shout about our consumer focused ethos and champion our low cost values - Brando is the perfect partner to help us do just that.”

Brando will work alongside its affiliate agencies in the pan-European space to instigate brand building and digital relationships for easyCar with new consumers.


Brando was set up by Paul Lucas and Mandy Sharp in 2005.  The agency provides PR, brand experience and digital support to clients including Tourism Montreal, Sony Ericsson in the UK and EMEA, Haribo, Somerfield, Cirque du Soleil, First Direct, and Dr.Oetker.
