TravelRes, the free of charge online hotel reservation service and international brand of Germany-based hotel.de, and ViaMichelin - one of the leading online route-planning and map services in Europe - have agreed on a comprehensive partnership.

The existing hotel range of ViaMichelin at www.viamichelin.com has been extended by approximately 8,000 hotels from the TravelRes portfolio and equipped with the corresponding booking links to the TravelRes platform. This extension primarily involves frequently booked hotels in the German-speaking countries as well as hotels in European metropolitan areas that had not been available at ViaMichelin before.

ViaMichelin users now also have access to the low-cost TravelRes rates thus saving 30% on their hotel expenses. The customer can view all available rates of a specific hotel (such as e.g. early bird and promotional rates) putting him or her into the position of selecting the desired room rate in accordance with TravelRes’ best price mechanism. Bookings via TravelRes are transmitted simultaneously, safely and directly into the hotel’s computer.

ViaMichelin users can find the hotels of the online hotel reservation service by entering their destination and travel dates within ViaMichelin’s “Hotel”-category.
