Aer Arann launches happy hour

29th Nov 2007

Aer Arann is introducing ‘Happy Hour’ fares to its website to encourage travellers from the United Kingdom to visit the ‘real’ Ireland. The selected routes will vary week to week with offerings selected from the 36 different routes operating between the UK and Ireland, as well as the 16 inter-Ireland routes, as part of Aer Arann’s winter schedule.

The special fares will only be available at on Thursday and Friday’s between 1.00pm and 2.00pm. The ‘Happy Hour’ has been introduced to the site in the wake of an increase in site visitors during that time period as would-be travellers’ research weekend destinations during their lunch breaks.

Colin Lewis, Head of Sales and Marketing at Aer Arann, comments “With holidaymakers searching for flights at the end of the working week, we thought we would give them an added bonus of being able to receive special deals during ‘Happy Hour’ to inspire travel to Ireland this winter.”
