Leonardo expands Amadeus pact

Leonardo Media have expanded their relationship with Amadeus to supply hotel multimedia services.
Leonardo has provided Amadeus with a fully automated online gateway for their partner hotels to aggregate and manage all of their multimedia content within one centralised repository - including marketing text in up to 45 different languages. The platform, called Amadeus Multimedia Gateway allows hotel chains to upload pictures and marketing text for every property in the chain simultaneously.

David Elton, Leonardo’s chief executive officer said “Amadeus is committed to enabling the hotel community to build their brands with an enhanced visual presentation of the product.  In line with our continuous technology evolvement, Leonardo has provided Amadeus with a broader range of functionality to fully automate processes for greater control and efficiency, facilitate faster delivery of content to Amadeus products and Web sites and provide more comprehensive reporting at both chain and property level.” 

Jean De Durfort, Amadeus’ head of hotel distribution, says, “It is increasingly important for hotels to differentiate their offer and establish a strong brand in an ever-more crowded market place; we have worked with Leonardo to help hotel chains achieve this in a much more efficient and standardised way.”
