Lufthansa wins Swiss duty-free deal

As of now Lufthansa WorldShop is taking over the handling of duty-free sales on
board for SWISS International Air Lines AG.The selection of goods will be further
adapted to specific customer requirements and expanded. Lufthansa WorldShop will in
future be responsible for the choice and procurement of goods in the range, for
logistics management and communication of the offerings in the aircraft cabin and on
the ground. From autumn on all products can be purchased for cash and can also be
redeemed in exchange for Miles & More mileage. Further attractive innovations for
customers are in the pipeline.

Lufthansa WorldShop, a wholly-owned Lufthansa subsidiary, has been responsible for
Lufthansa’s end-customer trading since 2003. Its activities encompass inflight
sales, a mail-order business with a huge choice of top-label travel, holiday, sports
and lifestyle articles as well as retail stores at Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg and
Berlin-Tegel airports and another outlet in Bielefeld. Goods stocked by Lufthansa
WorldShop can be purchased in euros or acquired in exchange for Miles & More premium
awards.
