Softbrands inks China deal

SoftBrands has entered into a long term business partnership with CTS HK Metropark Hotels Management.

“The success of our existing partnership and SoftBrands proven innovative technology make them an ideal partner who is willing to work closely with us to accomplish our business goals,” said Jeremy Xu, Metropark General Manager. “From our previous partnership, we have concluded that SoftBrands continues to demonstrate a clear understanding of our business strategies and operational needs. SoftBrands’ established market presence in China and a strong pool of hospitality expertise in-house are assets that Metropark can confidently leverage to power up our business initiatives.”

Metropark will implement SoftBrands’ Epitome Property Management System across 10 properties in Greater China during the first phase of its implementation plan and Core Central Reservation System (CRS) during the second phase. When the deployment of the solution is completed, Metropark will have easy access to centralized information, thereby enabling near real-time monitoring of the properties’ performance to make pro-active decisions that will positively impact revenue and allow them to respond quickly to the rapidly changing marketplace.

“We are delighted that Metropark continues to be our long-term business partner and is taking advantage of our next generation technology to play an important role in their regional expansion plans. Together Epitome PMS and Core CRS, provide a complete solution that can help increase operational efficiency, improve guest service and increase yields,” said Harbans Singh, SoftBrands, president, Hospitality, Asia Pacific. “With the centralized database, Metropark will have the tools to manage guests, rates and availability more effectively.”

“SoftBrands is helping Metropark achieve a centralized, flexible and scaleable solution and an open path of enhanced technology integration for their regional operations,” said Sam Liu, SoftBrands, country manager, Greater China.
