Carlson pleased with Delhi progress

Carlson Hotels Worldwide is developing the Radisson Hotel New Delhi Connaught Place scheduled to be completed by December, 2008. Owned by Hotel Marina, the Radisson Hotel New Delhi Connaught Place will join a growing number of hotels in the Radisson portfolio across India.

Uniquely positioned in the heart of the city, the Radisson New Delhi Connaught Place is located in the premium business, economic, financial, and shopping district of New Delhi. The Central Government Offices, International Trade Fair Ground - Pragati Maiden, Diplomatic Enclave, Embassies and High Commissions, Connaught Place shopping area, Parliament House, President’s Estate, State Emporiums and the Railway Station are also located within minutes of the hotel. The International Airport is an 18 km drive, while the Domestic Airport is 11 km away from the hotel.

The 93 room hotel will be a restoration project of a historic 1900s heritage building that once operated as the Marina Hotel. The hotel will offer the ultimate in comfort and style with meeting rooms, all day dining, specialty restaurants, a lobby lounge bar and health club. For superior comfort, each guest room on the second floor will have a private terrace garden, which provides the privacy and tranquility business and leisure guests look for during their stay.
